Can-Oat Milling manufactures a wide variety of oat products to fit our customer’s applications. We can target specific characteristics like granulation, water absorption, flake thickness and flour viscosity. we routinely develop customer-specific specifications and testing programs tailored to the end use of the product. Should one of our products not meet your needs, our technical team can work with you to develop a custom milled product.

Most commercially available oat products can be described as Groats (whole or steel cut), Flakes (large or small), Bran, or Flour (whole or low bran).

We produce everything from Large Flake Oats to Whole Oat Groats.

Large Flake Rolled Oats: Applications: Old Fashioned (Slow Cooking) Oatmeal, Granola Bars & Clusters, Bread Toppings, Muslei Cereal.
Oat Bran: Applications: Cookies, Muffins, Breads, Extruded Cereals, Hot Cereals.
Small Flake Rolled Oats (Quick, Instant, Baby): Applications: Quick & Instant Cooking Oatmeal, Granola Bars & Clusters, Cookies, Bread Toppings, Meat Extenders.
Steelcut Oat Groats: Applications: Breads (nut-like texture), Hot Cereal, can be further processed into oat flakes, bran & flour.
Whole Oat Flour: Applications: Extruded Cereals & Snacks, Breads, Cookies.
Whole Oat Groats: Applications: Further processed into oat flakes, bran, and flour.
